State Museum Fun!

January 19, 2017

On Monday January 16th, the CyberCards participated in an outreach event at the ISM (Indiana State Museum). Ten students came to support the demo. The ISM hosted a special day in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

For the event, we demoed Dozette and had two projects for the people that participated in our booth. Cybercard students helped kids make small paper robots and invited families to leave their fingerprint on a canvas.  We made a canvas that had a quote from Dr. King, and used flesh-toned ink for the fingerprints to show our support of Dr. King’s dream for unity and peace.  The fingerprints together made a beautiful peace dove.  We gave the painting to the ISM as a thank you for having us.

Thank you to everyone who helped us make this outreach event a success ISM is a great place outreach to and we hope to demo there again.
